Palette of Hyrule - Mellie's Plum Garden
"Palette of Hyrule" is a Sundelion x Mizuhiki collection I designed to capture various locations and emotions in Hyrule, drawing inspiration from the circular motifs found throughout the game Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
“Mellie’s Plum Garden” was the first concept came to mind. In Kakariko Village, there’s a lovely plum garden surrounded by fences, and Mellie, the elderly Sheikah lady, is very serious about not jumping into it. But if I continue breaking her rule, she will be furious and calling Link (me) IDIOT, followed by a story of how plum trees are crucial to the village. So, I decided to honor her by creating a garden with plum flowers, fire fruits, warm safflinas, and, of course, sundelions right in the middle.
Main materials: satin, mizuhiki
Wreath: total size is about 5.5x4.5in (14x11.5cm), mizuhiki ring is about 3.25in (8.3cm) in diameter. Fits in a 8x10 frame.
Brooch/hairclip: 5.5x2.5in (14x6.3cm)
